Society Act

Registration under this Act requires Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulation Document. This document is very important. At least 7 members are required to make this document and no stamp paper is required.

NGOs are registered as Societies but in some states like- Societies Act in the state of Maharashtra, NGOs can also be registered as Trustee.

Companies Act

To do this Memorandum and Articles of Association and Regulation Document is required.

There is no need of any type of stamp paper to make this document, it is necessary to have at least three members to make this document. In this act, the NGO is registered under the Companies Act.
